Perhaps the best part of our travel was the hike we made up the mountains, between two glaciers, and down again on the other side, into the beautiful valley of Thorsmörk. We started off from Skogafoss (visited earlier during our travels) and made our way upstream along the river Skoga. The river ran through a beautiful, moss-covered gorge, stuffed with waterfalls.
